主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
段華貴，南開(kāi)大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院教授、博士生導(dǎo)師、副院長(zhǎng)，“核心數(shù)學(xué)與組合數(shù)學(xué)”教育部重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室副主任，天津市數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)，“南開(kāi)大學(xué)百名青年學(xué)科帶頭人培養(yǎng)計(jì)劃”入選者。主要研究方向?yàn)榉蔷€(xiàn)性分析與動(dòng)力系統(tǒng)，近年來(lái)在微分幾何中的閉測(cè)地線(xiàn)與哈密頓系統(tǒng)的周期軌道等方面取得了系統(tǒng)性的研究成果，論文發(fā)表在《J. Diff. Geom.》，《Adv. Math.》，《J. Funct. Anal.》，《J. Diff. Equ.》，《Calc. Var. & PDEs》等學(xué)術(shù)雜志上。
主講內(nèi)容：
In this talk, I will introduce two kinds of periodic orbit problems, i.e., closed geodesics on manifolds and closed characteristics on star-shaped hypersurfaces in $R^{2n}$. And I will simply explain the role of Maslov-type index theory in doing with these problems as well.
